Our 680 18U Girls team had an incredible experience in Budapest, and I cannot recommend Navigo Sports Tours highly enough. From the start, John made the planning process easy and straightforward. Upfront payments and logistics were clearly communicated, and everything was well-organized from day one. Once we arrived, Ildi and Javi were outstanding hosts and tour guides. Their communication with both our athletes and our parents was top-notch throughout the entire trip. Our accommodations were excellent - centrally located in Pest, which made getting around the city simple and convenient. The program itself struck the perfect balance between competitive training and cultural immersion, which is exactly what we were looking for. The teams we trained with were gracious hosts, but the highlight of the trip was our day trip to Székesfehérvár - a former royal capital of the Kingdom of Hungary. Training with Fehérvár Vízilabda SE was a memorable experience from start to finish. We trained together in the morning, shared lunch with both teams, took a train tour through the historic old town, and then played a fun evening game in front of their local fans. It was a truly special day. Navigo delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish, and our team came home with memories that will last a lifetime. We will absolutely be using them again, and I highly recommend them for any club or high school program looking for an international tour done right. Thank you for such a wonderful time. This is our second trip using Navigo, and we wanted to think outside the box for our next international water polo training experience. With the rise of the Japan national team, we were curious to explore what Japan could offer from a skill and development standpoint. Fortunately, during our April visit, a high-level high school tournament was underway that we were able to enter. The event was extremely well organized, as expected, and the level of competition was strong—an excellent addition to the trip. In terms of logistics, this was by far the largest culture shock we have experienced in our travels, including Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro, and Italy. The language barrier presented challenges, but Navigo secured an outstanding guide, Cherie, a New Zealand native who studied in Japan and is fluent in Japanese. She was an invaluable resource, making communication with coaches and locals seamless while also providing strong support with geography and transportation logistics throughout Tokyo and Kyoto. We also worked with Lisa, who we previously traveled with in Australia. Lisa brings a great balance of fun, organization, and “team mom” energy that our athletes are familiar with and appreciate. Together, Cherie and Lisa formed an excellent team, communicating daily on the itinerary and adjusting plans as needed. Japan itself was incredibly clean—there was virtually no trash anywhere. The culture is highly detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on respect, honor, and hospitality, and we were welcomed everywhere we went. That said, I would likely not choose Japan again specifically for water polo, as while we played roughly eight games in three days through the tournament, there are limited opportunities for training or additional competitive matches. This is not a Navigo issue, but rather a reflection of the sport’s current level of development in the country, where baseball is clearly the dominant sport. Travel within Japan is very walk-heavy, though the train system is extremely efficient. Navigo provided Suica cards for all athletes, which were very helpful for transit and even worked in vending machines. We also participated in a walking tour of the Imperial Palace and several shrines. While the sites were beautiful—especially during cherry blossom season—I would have preferred a more informative guide experience, as it felt more like following a route than receiving historical context. Kyoto, however, was a highlight, particularly the Ninja and Samurai Museum and a sushi-making experience that the athletes really enjoyed. One note for future trips: it’s important to ensure athletes are traveling for the right reasons. By the end of the trip, it became clear that a few were more focused on shopping than fully engaging in the cultural and athletic experience, which is something to be mindful of moving forward. Overall, Navigo continues to do an excellent job managing the logistics of these international trips. A few areas for improvement would be incorporating more transportation support (some destinations required 1–1.5 hour walks) and improving airport arrival/departure flow, which was confusing and chaotic with multiple checkpoints and unclear instructions. That said, we would absolutely use Navigo again, especially in countries where we are less familiar with the language and systems.

My son and I had such a great time. We can’t thank you enough for winning this trip. Even though I had been to London several times in the past , it was my sons first time and we both really enjoyed the 4 hour walking tour around London , using oyster cards, cab service , soccer game and amazing flights and getting to ride the tube station to visit family was soo nice. Thank you Navigo Sports Tours.

First time traveling with Navigo. We did a 6 day trip to Costa Rica. We gave them a short window to make this trip happen. Brad and his crew got us all up to speed on the trip both with airfare and accommodations. The trip was great. We had an amazing tour guide with us 24/7. All the transportation was on time and all meals and restaurants met all the needs of our program. All of the activities that were planned, were excellent choices for this group. It was great getting to see so many snippets for this beautiful country. Hiking 2 volcano's, showed spectacular views and was a great workout. Our waterfall hikes was the highlight of the trip. Hiking thru the jungles and streams to see 3 beautiful waterfalls was a wonderful 1/2 day. Our tour guide (Tatiana) took us to multiple local restaurants (no chains). All the food was well done and getting to eat dinner on the beach was beautiful as we watched sunset. Any time that you travel in a large group (17 in ours) your worry about dining and experiences. Brad and his crew took all the worry out of this trip. I highly recommend them for your groups.

Our Trip was fantastic. Our team had a great playing experience, cultural experience, and there were no major logistical or schedule issues. The trip had the perfect balance of soccer and cultural exposure. Our tour guides had a great impact on our trip. Martin and Dunja were both informal, fun to be around, and had complete focus on giving our group the best experience. Thank you for the lifelong memories this trip has created for our players, coaches, and families.
