The 2027 Women's World Cup comes to Brazil

Brazil is getting ready to host the FIFA Women's World Cup™ for the first time, and there is no better way to experience the tournament than being there as the world's best teams take the field. From the opening match in Rio to following the U.S. Women's National Team across Brazil, this trip is built around the excitement of the 2027 World Cup.

We'll begin in Rio de Janeiro, arriving in time for the tournament opener on Thursday, June 24, when Brazil takes the field at the legendary Maracanã. Rio will be our starting point for the trip, with a 5-star hotel in a great location that puts us within easy reach of the beach, public transportation, and many of the city's top attractions.

After the opening match, we'll head to the host city for the U.S. Women's National Team's first group-stage match. We won't know exactly where that game will be until the World Cup Draw in December, but we'll build the trip around making sure you're there to cheer on Team USA.

We'll also look for opportunities to attend additional World Cup matches along the way. The exact schedule will depend on the final tournament draw and match schedule, but our goal is to take advantage of the games that make the most sense along our route and give you as much World Cup action as possible.

Once the first U.S. group-stage match is complete, the main Fan Tour comes to an end, with guests departing from the host city where Team USA plays. Because the final destination depends on the World Cup schedule, we recommend waiting to book your return flight until Navigo confirms the final itinerary.

For those who don't want the adventure to end, we'll also offer an optional extension to follow Team USA to its second group-stage match. The second U.S. match will take place sometime between June 30 and July 4, with the host city and exact date to be confirmed after the Draw. We'll finalize the extension details and pricing once the schedule is known.

The itinerary below gives you a sense of what the experience could look like. As the World Cup schedule takes shape, we'll adjust the trip to put you as close to the action as possible.

Opening Game: Thursday, June 24

Group A: Brazil vs. TBD | Estádio do Maracanã | Rio de Janeiro

TBD - USWNT Group Stage Game 1

Four World Cups of Experience

When it comes to following the U.S. Women’s National Team, we know what we’re doing. Navigo is the only company to have operated fan tours to the last four Women’s World Cups: Germany, Canada, France, and Australia/New Zealand.

At each tournament, we’ve brought hundreds of passionate USA fans together to cheer on the team while experiencing the best of the host country. We understand that World Cup travel is different. Match locations can be spread across a country, schedules can change, and the next destination may not be known until the Draw. We know how to adapt and keep the focus on getting our travelers where they need to be.

NAVIGO QUALITY ASSURANCE

A Great Home Base in Rio

We’ve selected a fantastic 5-star hotel in Rio de Janeiro as our home base for the beginning of the trip. It’s in a great location, just a short walk from the beach and close to public transportation, making it easy to get out and explore the city on your own. It’s the kind of hotel you’ll be happy to come back to after a day of sightseeing or cheering on our team.

Quality Hotels Throughout the Trip

As we follow the USWNT across Brazil, we’ll stay at carefully selected 3-star superior or higher properties, chosen first and foremost for their location, quality, and safety. We work with trusted local partners and personally vet our accommodations to make sure they meet our standards.

Because the World Cup schedule will determine where we travel, some hotels will not be confirmed until the tournament draw and final match schedule are announced. Wherever we go, our goal is the same: comfortable, well-located hotels that make it easy to enjoy each destination and get to the action.

Want a Little More Space?

Prefer a little extra room to spread out? Hotel room upgrades, including larger rooms or suites, will be available at select properties when offered by the hotel.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

International travel is a big investment, and travel insurance can provide valuable protection if something unexpected happens before or during your trip.

Through our partners at Travel Insured International, individual travel insurance policies are available for Navigo travelers. Coverage options can include trip cancellation or interruption, trip delays, baggage loss or damage, emergency medical expenses, and emergency medical evacuation. Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage is also available on eligible policies.

Reasons to consider coverage:

  • You have to cancel your trip due to an unexpected event such as inclement weather, an illness in the family, involuntary job loss or the financial default of your airline, cruise line or tour operator.*

  • You have to return home early due to an unexpected emergency such as an illness or death in the family.

  • Your luggage is delayed, forcing you to purchase necessary essentials or prescription medications.

  • Your baggage is damaged or stolen.

  • You become ill or injured when traveling.

  • You need an emergency medical evacuation due to an acute or life threatening illness.

  • You run into flight delays and miss a portion of your trip.

  • You lose your passport, leaving you stranded abroad.

Navigo does not provide travel insurance directly. Coverage, eligibility, exclusions, and terms vary by policy, so we encourage you to review the details carefully before purchasing.

Considering Cancel For Any Reason coverage?

CFAR coverage must be purchased within 21 days of your initial trip deposit, so don't wait if this is something you want to consider.
